Advanced class Hybrid

Sage

Master of nature and elemental magic; the most flexible caster

Sage

The Sage is the advanced hybrid caster unlocked by advancing a Druid at Job Level 50. Where the Druid dabbles in healing, nature, and elements, the Sage commits to all three at once for the most flexible caster role in the game.

Overview

The Sage retains every Druid skill and adds:

  • Avatar of Nature: talent that locks Verdant Touch + Entangling Roots to +50% effectiveness; healing your party while you deal damage.
  • Tranquility: channeled 8-second group heal, the most powerful AoE heal in the game.
  • Heart of the Wild: passive — Spirit, Intelligence, and Vitality all contribute to healing AND damage, no penalty for hybridizing.
  • Starfall: ultimate spell — calls down stars in a 12m AoE for 8s, dealing massive damage and healing allies for half.

In combat, the Sage is the highest-utility class in the game. Solo, you can spec into Bear Form for tanking, into Avatar of Nature for healing, or pure damage. In groups, you can fill any role — off-tank, off-heal, DPS — depending on what’s needed.

Sage evolves from the Druid and is the only class the Druid can advance into.

Stat priority

  1. Spirit — both healing AND damage scale with Spirit thanks to Heart of the Wild.
  2. Intelligence — secondary spell damage.
  3. Vitality — for Bear Form tanking builds.

The Heart of the Wild passive is what makes Sage unique: every stat point invested in any hybrid role benefits both. This lets you build one Sage and swap roles freely.

## Equipment & cards

The Wildspeaker 4-piece (Lv 60+) is mandatory: +15% Verdant healing. Endgame: Wildspeaker 4 + Stormcaller 2 for hybrid builds that use Primal spells.

Cards to chase:

  • Mother Tree (from Druid, applies).
  • Heart of the Wild (Lv 80 dungeon) — All stats contribute double to hybrid scaling.
  • Star Caller (Lv 100 dungeon) — Starfall cooldown reduced by 60s.

Leveling (Lv 51–70)

Sage levels very fast because of Heart of the Wild’s versatility. You can spec for tanking, healing, or DPS depending on what’s needed — no class does everything better than Sage does everything.

Endgame

Endgame Sages are the most flexible endgame class. In a raid, two Sages can fill tank + healer + DPS slots simultaneously. In PvP, a hybrid Sage is impossible to predict.

The PvE meta favors Sage hybrid (Avatar of Nature + Starfall). Pure healing or pure DPS Sages are viable but less popular.

FAQ

Q: Is Sage stronger than Wizard for damage? A: No — Wizard is the pure DPS caster. Sage makes up for lower damage with flexibility.

Q: Is Sage stronger than Priest for healing? A: No — Priest is the pure healer. Sage makes up for lower healing output with ability to also tank/DPS.

Q: Should I always pick Sage over a specialized class? A: No — if you want top-end benchmarks, pick the specialist. Sage’s strength is flexibility, not raw throughput.
