Wizard

The Wizard is the advanced caster class unlocked by advancing a Mage at Job Level 50. Where the Mage dabbles in all three elements, the Wizard commits to one for spectacular amplification — and unlocks Meteor, the highest single-target spell in the game.

Overview

The Wizard retains every Mage spell and adds three talents (one per element) that fundamentally change how the class plays:

  • Avatar of Fire: Locks Firebolt + Fire Storm to +50% damage. Overload becomes Inferno (burn scales 3x).
  • Avatar of Frost: Locks Frostbolt + Ice Wall to +50% effectiveness. Frozen lasts 2x longer.
  • Avatar of Storm: Locks Lightning + Storm to +50% damage. Chains to +3 additional targets.

Plus: Meteor, a 60s-cooldown spell that deals massive AoE damage at a target location with a 2s cast.

In combat, the Wizard’s identity is specialization. A Avatar of Fire Wizard deals 50% more damage than a Mage, but only with fire spells. The choice of element defines the build.

Wizard evolves from the Mage and is the only class the Mage can advance into.

Stat priority

  1. Intelligence — primary; spell scaling.
  2. Spirit — crit and mana regen.
  3. Vitality — tertiary.

For Fire builds: lean fully into Intelligence. For Storm builds: balance Intelligence and Spirit (Storm crits hard). For Frost builds: Spirit first (control scales with crit).

Fire spells +50% damage; Overload becomes Inferno.

Avatar of Frost Talent

Frost spells +50% effectiveness; Frozen doubled.

Avatar of Storm Talent

Lightning chains +3 targets; Storm crits grant +1 chain.

Meteor Cast 2s 60s

Massive AoE at target, 8m radius.

Arcane Power Passive

+5% spell damage per minute in combat (caps at 25%).

For Wizard optimization, max **Meteor** and one **Avatar** talent. The element is your choice.

Equipment & cards

The Elementalist 4-piece (Lv 60+) is mandatory: +15% Elemental Overload damage. Endgame: Elementalist 4 + Spellweaver 2 for mana regen.

Cards to chase:

  • Pyromania (from Mage, applies).
  • Arcane Mastery (Lv 80 dungeon) — Meteor CD reduced by 10s.
  • Elemental Convergence (Lv 100 dungeon) — All three elements do full damage simultaneously (rare build enabler).

Leveling (Lv 51–70)

Wizard levels fast thanks to Meteor’s clear speed. Pick one element (Fire is recommended for first-time players) and commit.

Endgame

Endgame Wizards are the highest AoE damage class in the game. Meteor + Avatar of Storm chains + Arcane Power ramping means a Wizard can clear entire farm routes in seconds.

The PvE meta currently favors Avatar of Fire for boss damage and Avatar of Storm for AoE. Avatar of Frost is niche — favored in hard content for crowd control.

Q: Can I switch elements? A: Yes — visit the Waybinder NPC (in Nevaris). 24h cooldown per character.

Q: Is Avatar of Storm stronger than Fire? A: In AoE, yes. In pure boss damage, Fire pulls ahead. Choose by content type.

Q: Do I need Meteor? A: At endgame, yes. It’s the highest single-target burst spell in the game and the entire spec revolves around it.
