Phase breakdown
Bramble has two phases with a soft enrage at the phase transition.
Phase 1 (100% → 40% HP) — Roots
Bramble is rooted to the central platform and fights with Vine Lash and Thorn Volley.
- Tank buster:
Vine Lash— single-target strike telegraphed by a 1.5s arm-swing animation. The current tank takes ~3,500 nature damage and must have Guard up. - AoE:
Thorn Volley— 5-projectile fan covering 180 degrees. Stand behind Bramble to avoid. - Adds: 4×
Thornling(Lv 22 normal) spawn every 45 seconds. AoE them down.
Phase 2 (40% → 0% HP) — Uprooted
Bramble uproots and gains +30% movement speed plus a new Burst Roots ability. The platform becomes hazardous as Toxic Pools form randomly across the arena.
- Tank buster:
Burst Roots— AoE around Bramble, 6m radius. The tank must kite Bramble away from the party. - AoE:
Toxic Pool— 3 random AoE zones spawn and persist for 20s. Standing in them deals 200 nature damage per second. - Soft enrage: at 8 minutes, Bramble gains Multistrike for the remainder of the fight. Burst cooldowns here.

Strategy
Bramble is the first true boss most parties face in the game. The recommended approach:
- Two tanks for Phase 2 — the Burst Roots AoE makes solo-tanking risky.
- Stand behind the boss in Phase 1 to avoid Thorn Volley.
- Pre-position for Toxic Pools in Phase 2 — pre-assign party positions (NW, NE, SW, SE) and rotate.
- Burst at 8 minutes — save cooldowns for the soft enrage.

FAQ
Q: Can you solo Bramble at Lv 25? A: Yes, with any class. Berserker, Wizard, and Necromancer are the easiest solos.
Q: Does the Iron Will Spear drop at higher rarity? A: On Hard mode, yes — the spear can roll epic with a third stat bonus.
Q: How long does the enrage timer take? A: 8 minutes from pull. Parties that don’t down Bramble in 8 minutes usually wipe to the soft enrage Multistrike.
