Mitre of Sanctity
The Mitre of Sanctity is the endgame helmet for Full Support Priests. It drops from a hidden chest in the altar room of Sanctum of Light and is the keystone item of the Sanctum of Light set. The +18% Healing stat is unmatched by any other helmet in the game, making it the most-chased piece of gear for raid healers.
Stats
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Healing | +18% |
| Sanctuary duration | +12% |
| Intelligence | +24 |
| Vitality | +15 |
| Set bonus (2-piece) | +6% Healing |
| Set bonus (4-piece) | +10% Healing, Cleanse spreads to nearby allies |
Set bonus
The Sanctum of Light set is a 4-piece healer collection. At 2 pieces you gain +6% Healing; at 4 pieces you gain an additional +10% Healing AND your Cleanse spell spreads to 2 nearby allies. The 4-piece Cleanse spread is what makes raid healing feel smooth — one Cleanse clears the entire holy trinity stack.
How to get it
The Mitre of Sanctity drops from a hidden chest in the altar room of Sanctum of Light. The chest spawns only after:
- All 4 visible altar keepers are defeated.
- The party speaks the phrase “Sanctum restore” at the central altar (any party member).
- The chest spawns in the eastern alcove.
Drop rate is 8% per qualifying clear on Standard, 15% on Hard. Expect 6–10 clears on average.
- The full map guide is on the Sanctum of Light map guide (Phase 3).
Best recipients
The Mitre of Sanctity is best-in-slot for:
- Priest — Full Support PvE build. The Mitre + Sanctum of Light 4-piece is the cornerstone of Priest endgame healing.
- Acolyte — usable pre-advancement but the stat priorities shift once you reach Priest.
FAQ
Q: Can the Mitre of Sanctity roll legendary? A: No — it is locked at epic rarity. The Sanctum of Light set has no legendary tier in Early Access.
Q: Is the hidden altar chest shareable across the party? A: Yes, every party member gets an independent drop roll.
Q: Can I get the Mitre before finishing the rest of the set? A: Yes, the Mitre is a standalone drop. Mixing it with non-set pieces is fine for solo content.
Lore
The Mitre of Sanctity was worn by the High Confessor of Sanctum of Light during the Sundering. According to in-game lore, it absorbs residual healing energy from the altar room, which is why its healing bonus scales with Sanctum of Light’s ambient holy aura.
