Snarling Boar Card
The Snarling Boar Card is an uncommon card that drops from the Snarling Boar enemy in Sunny Meadows. It’s the first card most Knights slot into their build — the +6% Vitality bonus is the single biggest defensive boost you can get before Lv 40.
Stats
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Vitality | +6% |
| HP | +120 |
The card takes one card slot (separate from gear slots). You can equip up to 4 cards at a time.
How to get it
The Snarling Boar Card drops from any Snarling Boar kill in Sunny Meadows. Drop rate is ~6% per kill.
- Solo farming: camp the eastern meadow spawn point. Boars respawn every 8 minutes.
- Group farming: queue for Sunny Meadows 2 Hard — the elite Snarling Boars there have a ~12% drop rate.
- Auction House: typically 200–400 gold on most servers.
Best recipients
- Knight — BiS for leveling through Lv 40. Stacks with Iron Will 2-piece for ~14% effective HP boost.
- Paladin — usable in PvP tanking builds; less essential in raid healing.
- Warrior — minor DPS gain via the HP-to-damage-scaling Talent.
Card stacking
Cards do not stack — equipping the same card twice does nothing. You need 4 distinct cards to fill all slots. Common early-game loadouts for Knights:
- Snarling Boar (+6% Vitality)
- Iron Sentinel (+5% Guard effectiveness — Lv 45 dungeon drop)
- Pact of Stone (+10% HP, +5% Defense — Lv 80 dungeon drop)
- Whetstone (+3% Attack Speed — crafted)
FAQ
Q: Does the Snarling Boar Card work for DPS classes? A: It works for any class, but DPS classes gain far more from damage-scaling cards (e.g. Multistrike +).
Q: Can I trade the card? A: Yes — cards are tradable. Bind-on-equip only after you slot it.
Q: Is there a superior boar card? A: No — the Snarling Boar Card is the only boar-themed card in Early Access. There is no Mythic tier variant yet.
