Phase breakdown
The Warden has three phases with a hard enrage at 12 minutes.
Phase 1 (100% → 70% HP) — Judgment
The Warden stands in the center of a circular arena. Adds spawn from the four cardinal directions every 30 seconds.
- Tank buster:
Judgment Strike— single-target holy damage telegraphed by a 1.8s sword-swing animation. Hits for ~120,000 holy damage. Tanks must have Guard and a Holy-resistance shield active. - AoE:
Consecrate Ground— 8m radius around the Warden, deals 25,000 holy damage per second. The raid must stack at max range (24m). - Adds: 4×
Warden's Acolyte(Lv 92 elite) spawn every 30 seconds. Off-tanks pick them up.
Phase 2 (70% → 30% HP) — Pillar of Light
The Warden channels a persistent Pillar of Light that heals him for 5,000 HP per second. The raid must interrupt the channel or destroy the Pillar (which has 200,000 HP).
- Tank buster:
Radiant Burst— frontal cone, 12m. Hits for ~80,000 holy damage. Tanks face the boss away from the raid. - AoE:
Light Eruption— 6 random AoE zones across the arena. Pre-assigned positions (the same 4 corners as Phase 1) avoid them. - Add mechanic: 2×
Warden's Acolytespawn every 15 seconds in this phase. Burn them quickly to free up off-tanks.
Phase 3 (30% → 0% HP) — Final Judgment
The Warden drops all pretenses and goes full aggro. The Pillar of Light persists from Phase 2 unless destroyed.
- Tank buster:
Final Judgment— full-party frontal cone, 18m. ~150,000 holy damage to anyone hit. The tank must face the boss into the corner pillar AND a Sage or Priest must pre-shield the group. - AoE:
Holy Nova— expanding ring from the Warden, 30m max radius. The raid must hug the corner pillar and dodge outward as it shrinks. - Hard enrage: at 12 minutes, the Warden gains 100% damage reduction and the raid auto-wipes. This is a hard timer.

The Aegis of the First Knight is the keystone drop — a Lv 95 legendary spear that is BiS for Knight and Paladin through the entire endgame.
Strategy
The Warden is the wall that separates casual players from hardcore raiders. The full strategy:
- Two main tanks with full Holy-resistance gear. Knight + Paladin is the standard pairing.
- Three off-tanks for Phase 1 adds, two of which transition to boss tanking in Phase 3.
- At least two healers with Cleanse spec’d for the Radiant Burn DoT.
- Save Last Stand + Sanctuary for the Final Judgment in Phase 3.
- Hard-burn the Pillar of Light in Phase 2 — letting it persist past 70% HP usually leads to a wipe.
FAQ
Q: Can you outgear the Warden? A: Partially — Lv 100+ parties can skip some mechanics, but the 12-minute enrage timer is hard.
Q: Does the Aegis drop on every clear? A: No — drop rate is ~25% per kill. Expect 4-5 clears on average.
Q: What level should my party be to start attempting the Warden? A: Lv 95 is the floor, but most serious raid groups start at Lv 98+ with optimized gear.
