Priest Full Support PvE Build
A complete Full Support Priest primer for PvE leveling and bossing — Healing throughput, Sanctuary uptime, and stat breakpoints for The Echoing Spire.
Priest Full Support PvE Build
The Priest is the only true Full Support class in SpiritVale. Where the Acolyte is a hybrid healer-buffer, the Priest commits fully to group survival: healing throughput, damage mitigation, and buff uptime. This build is the standard PvE loadout from Lv 50 to endgame, designed to keep a full party of 4 alive through Echoing Spire T3.
It evolved from the Acolyte wiki entry — Priest players should read that first for the foundation.
Overview
Full Support Priest is built around three layered systems:
- Reactive healing — Heal and Rejuvenation respond to incoming damage
- Mitigation — Sacred Aegis absorbs burst, Sanctuary provides AoE damage reduction
- Buff uptime — Benediction and Group Heal cycle constantly
You are never the source of damage. Your job is to keep four players alive while they do 100% of the killing. This requires a fundamentally different mindset from a Berserker or Wizard — you’re reading the room, predicting incoming damage, and pre-casting.
Stat priority
- Wisdom — primary. Scales Healing and Sanctuary.
- Vitality — secondary. Your own HP pool matters less than your mana, but you can’t heal from the dead.
- Spirit — tertiary. Faster cast speed means more Heal casts per second.
Breakpoint to chase: 35% cast speed with full buffs by Lv 60. This lets you cast Heal twice in the time it takes a non-buffed Priest to cast once.
Skill rotation
There is no single rotation for Full Support. The Priest reacts to encounter mechanics.
Default loadout
- Heal — primary reactive heal (single target, fast cast, low cost)
- Rejuvenation — HoT, applied to the tank before boss mechanics
- Sanctuary — 30s CD, AoE damage reduction in a 6m radius
- Sacred Aegis — 90s CD, absorbs the next 4,500 damage on the tank
- Benediction — passive, increases Healing potency by 18%
- Group Heal — emergency AoE heal, 45s CD
Boss opener (standard Echoing Spire pattern)
- Pre-cast Rejuvenation on the tank 8 seconds before the pull
- Sanctuary immediately after pull starts
- Sacred Aegis on the tank 2 seconds before the first big hit
- Heal on cooldown throughout
- Refresh Sanctuary on its 30s timer
- Hold Group Heal for the enrage / hard enrage window
Trash pack rotation
In trash, drop Sanctuary on your party, Rejuvenation the lowest-HP player, and Heal-spam as needed. You will never run out of mana in trash. Save Group Heal for the next boss.
Equipment & cards
Weapons
- Lv 50–70: Blessed Mace from Mystic Lake (any will do)
- Lv 70+: Sanctified Mace (Echoing Spire T1) — +Healing potency suffix
- Endgame: Lightbringer, dropped from The Echoing Spire T3 final boss
Armor
- Mitre of Sanctity (wiki entry) — the #1 Priest hat. Sanctuary duration +3s, mandatory.
- Sanctified robes (any with Wisdom + Spirit substats)
- Two-piece Sanctuary set bonus: +15% Sanctuary effectiveness
Cards
- Pact of Stone (wiki entry) — endgame card, increases your effective HP by 18%. Non-negotiable for T3 content.
- Light’s Embrace — Healing potency +12%, dropped from Sanctum of Light.
- Aegis of the First Knight (wiki entry) — the legendary shield. The First Knight’s Resolve passive is the single most powerful defensive card in the game.
Stat breakpoints for The Echoing Spire
| Tier | Wisdom | Cast Speed | Healing/s | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| T1 | 1200+ | 25% | 4,200 | Full clear with defensive play |
| T2 | 1800+ | 30% | 6,800 | Required for hard-mode enrage timers |
| T3 | 2400+ | 35% | 9,500 | Endgame. Group Heal becomes a panic button. |
Below T1 breakpoints, you’ll struggle with the harder Echoing Spire bosses. The Echoing Spire is unforgiving to undergeared Supports.
Strengths & weaknesses
Strengths
- Highest group survival ceiling in the game
- Permanent demand — every competent party wants a Full Support Priest
- Lower gear pressure than DPS classes for entry-level content
Weaknesses
- Zero solo capability. You can’t grind efficiently as a Priest.
- Mana management is unforgiving at low gear tiers
- Mistakes are visible — a dead party is on you, not on the DPS who pulled aggro
FAQ
Q: Should I ever go Hybrid Support instead? A: Only if you’re leveling solo or want to do open-world content. For group PvE, Full Support is strictly better — the math is in the Healing/s column.
Q: When do I use Group Heal vs spamming Heal? A: Group Heal has a 45s cooldown and heals everyone for ~3,000. Save it for moments when 2+ party members are below 40% HP simultaneously. Otherwise, single-target Heal is more efficient.
Q: How do I deal with Mana starvation early? A: At low gear tiers, drink potions between pulls. Once you hit the T1 Wisdom breakpoint (~1,200), Mana stops being an issue for standard boss fights.
